Food Print Edu
Foodprint Edu. is a campaign created by two alumni from Adelphi University in 2020. They both understood that there is a disconnect between average Americans, environmentalists and animal agriculture. Many know that there are many environmental problems but do not know how their diet may be attributing to issues like deforestation and nutrient loss.
Thus Forkability’s FoodprintEdu was born to educate college students on how their diet has a part in determining their ecological footprint. The name was expanded to “Forkability”, because we want people to see all that is possible with food. This organization is in its infancy, and we welcome support from all, and encourage you to join us in this movement as collaborators or volunteers.
